Job Overview

The purpose of this position is to wash and clean tableware, pots, pans and cooking equipment, as well as keeping the dish-room clean and organized.
General Responsibilities:

Load, run and unload the dish machine.
Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical
problems immediately.
Monitor dish machine water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle.
Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware.
Keep dish room clean and organized.
Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room and kitchen.
Bag and haul trash to dumpster at designed times.
Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss.
Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies.
Clean food preparation and production areas as required.
Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the executive chef or owner.
Be able to work in hot, wet, humid and loud environment for long period of time.
Be physically able to lift, reach, bend and stoop.
Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
Be able to safely lift bags, cases and stacks (up to 60 pounds) many times
per shift.
Have knowledge of where products are stored and the proper procedures for rotating goods.
Fill and maintain wood storage for the wood-fired oven.
Be able to follow a routine cleaning schedule as posted

Qualifications:

No previous restaurant experience required.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written is necessary.

Bartender

Job Overview

The purpose of this position is to interact with guests and ensure they have a great experience. Restaurant Bartenders are responsible for positive guest interactions while accurately mixing and serving beverages to guests and servers in a friendly and efficient manner. At all times, bartenders are expected to be attentive to our guest needs and making them feel welcome, comfortable, important and relaxed.

General Responsibilities
  • Greet guests, take beverage orders from the restaurant servers or directly from guests.
  • Mix drinks, cocktails and other bar beverages as ordered and in compliance with company¬†standards.
  • Properly present and pour wine.
  • Check identification of guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol.
  • Handle an assigned house bank and follow all cash handling procedures.
  • Collect payment for drinks served and balance all receipts.
  • Ensure that the assigned bar area is fully equipped with tools and products needed for mixing beverages and serving guests, prepare inventory or purchase requisitions as needed to replenish supplies.
  • Serve food items to guests seated at the bar where appropriate.
  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of food and beverage products, menus and promotions.
  • Maintain a clean working area at all times
  • Other duties as assigned.

Line Cook

Job Description:

Accurately and efficiently prepare cold food dishes, cook meats, fish, vegetables, soups and other hot food products as well as prepare and portion food products prior to cooking. Also perform other duties in the areas of food and final plate preparation including plating and garnishing of cooked items and preparing appropriate garnishes for all hot and cold menu items.

General Responsibilities:
  • Prepares a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items for cooking in a variety of kitchen equipment.
  • Assumes 100% responsibility for quality of products served.
  • Knows and complies consistently with our standard portion sizes, cooking¬†methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures.
  • Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period.
  • Portions food products prior to cooking according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications.
  • Maintains a clean and sanitary work station area including tables, shelves, pasta cookers, induction range and refrigeration equipment.
  • Follows proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes.
  • Handles, stores and rotates all products properly.
  • Assists in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed.
  • Closes the kitchen properly and follows the closing checklist for kitchen stations.
  • Assists others in closing the kitchen.
  • Attends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by the Chef or Owner

  • Prepares the tables, laying out napkins and utensils, making sure the condiments are refilled, performing all other preparation tasks.
  • Staying updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu deviations, knowing if the kitchen staff is running out of any items…etc.
  • Handle the table bookings, direct customers to their tables, presenting menus, suggesting dishes, assisting in drink selection, informing customers about food preparation details, communicating specific customer needs to the cooks.
  • Maintaining proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, offering desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses.
  • Properly present and pour wine at the table.

  • Obtaining revenues, issuing receipts, accepting payments, returning the change.
